What to expect from ‘Jane the Virgin’ season 2
What follows is a madcap sequence that does a pretty decent job of weaving together ridiculous high-jinks and real emotion: Michael figures out that the brooch was returned to Luisa, who, we learn, lost it mere minutes before they arrive when her girlfriend (Juicy Jordan) chucked a huge box full of belongings into the hotel pool after accusing Luisa of being too attached to her exes.

It might be hard to top that, but Jane also met her birth father, who happens to be her favorite Telenovela star; a murder, the kickstart to her career, all intertwined with love stories.
Elsewhere, Rafael’s ex Petra (Yael Grogblas), with a little liquid courage, made a decision to use the last sample of his sperm to artificially inseminate herself – right in the middle of her living room.
Speaking to TheWrap, Urman broke down all the biggest twists and turns of the Season 2 premiere and how they launch the rest of the season. Why did you decide to wrap it up that fast? I think people will enjoy it. She moves next door to Jane and they have a little bit of a noise issue because of Kesha’s band.
However, right now, she realized that Jane should focus more on her baby boy, who was kidnapped by Sin Rostro in season 1. I wanted to wrap up the event of missing Mateo while still opening up the aftermath of something as traumatic as that. Thanks to that, Michael and Rafael had to jump in the pool to search for Sin Rostro’s pin. She tells Petra a lie about Rafael wanting to really be with her and that she should’ve been the one to have that baby. “Jenny in particular, because it’s everything you want it to be”.
Which isn’t to say Rodriguez didn’t appreciate a few of Jane’s struggles. We even talked about nursing, and how if you’re nursing your baby, your No. 1 concern is feeding and making sure your baby is getting enough milk.
We actually used multiple babies in the episode. “People were always very kind and it was terrible because I just played along”, Rodriguez said.
I have done so much research into online at-home insemination. I won’t say more than that!
So that tag at the end of the episode.
Sin Rostro isn’t interested in Mateo, but rather using him as a bargaining chip to retrieve a dragonfly brooch the police had collected into evidence. Nadine then informs Michael that on the chip in the brooch are the before and after faces of everyone in Sin Rostro’s employ. And the first episode of this season of the show will get telecast-ed on 13th October on American TV channel CW.
