Preview For Tonight’s WWE Smackdown Tapings
Best day ever. And for one lucky couple attending “Monday Night RAW” in Chicago, that’s exactly what happened.

Stay close to PMN as we provide live updates and video highlights of tonight’s Raw which is taking place in Chicago. I’ll have more on that later. The WWE is trying to elevate its pre-show proceedings, which is a good sign instead of the meaningless analysis that was a norm of late. He then tells Ambrose and Orton to act like Derrick Rose and sit on the bench, which draws a few major boos. We’ve seen this before, and it’s just simply not good storytelling.
What’s infuriating is how bad the creative team is, whether or not they’re being directed by Vince McMahon or Stephanie or whomever. I’m not sure how much bad I can take anymore. If there’s been one small crack in the foundation, however, it’s that The New Day is supposed to be a heel faction, except they’ve been garnering more cheers than villains typically do based on their amusing exploits.
Wrestlers rarely break character and acknowledge real-life sh*t, but during yesterday’s “WWE Monday Night Raw”, John Cena had to give a special shout out to something going on in the crowd. Cena took time out of the match to congratulate a newly engaged couple in the audience, which was actually pretty cool. Like I said, pointless. One of the craziest spots of the bout saw both men climb on the outside of the cage and knock each other off. The former friends went crashing through the announce table in a scary fall.
The Wyatt Family then comes out and Bray says a massacre is on the calendar for Hell in a Cell.
What did you think of the results of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw?
After the segment and before Reigns left, he chose to leave Wyatt with a parting gift.
In double-team action, New Day held on against Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton, as the advantage in the fight alternated back and forth from the very onset of the match.
The New Day defeats Ambrose and Orton when Ambrose pushes Big E out of the ring. Not counting the beginning of the non-stop Kane interludes, the show opens up with a Dean Ambrose promo that eventually turns into a New Day promo and then into Dean Ambrose/Randy Orton versus New Day. It will feature more build towards the PPV with feuds progressing and possibly more matches being added to the card. And that’s a feud I won’t mind seeing.
Could Owens be getting another push from the WWE?
Ryback def. Rusev (with Summer Rae) by pin following Shell Shocked.
Roman Reigns heads to the ring for his match with Braun Strowman. I guess they accomplished something.
She cut a promo on Rusev after his match and emasculated him down, right to his very boots. She lays into him and then slaps him.
Cesaro is back in the low midcard for the time being, and that really sucks. But, nope, he was in a throwaway tag team match that means nothing for any of the four participants involved.
During the mania that was a six-man cell bout for the WWE Championship at Armageddon 2000, The “Demon From Death Valley” struck again. No Paige to be found. The blind tags are only a factor in the middle of the match, and the bump at the end is expected, but overall, the match is fun while it lasts. Where’s Sasha Banks? I’m not sure I can take much more of this. He talks for a bit about his love for Chicago and then meets his challenger: Dolph Ziggler.
The Dudley Boys squash The Ascension with the 3D. Braun Strowman by countout after hitting Strowman with the Superman Punch outside of the ring.

Brie Bella & Alicia Fox (with Nikki Bella) def. Charlotte & Becky Lynch (with Natalya) by Brie Bella pinning Charlotte following a missile dropkick. Seth Rollins (c) by pinfall via the Tombstone piledriver.
