Manchester United news: Bebe won’t rule out Old Trafford return

Former Manchester United winger Bebe says that he could return to Manchester United later in his career.

It was a remarkable rags-to-riches story, but Bebe failed to impress during his time in England.

During his stint in the Premier League, he had loan spells at Besiktas, Rio Ave and Pacos de Ferreira; he only made two first team league appearances for the Manchester giants.

The 25-year-old, though, failed to make an impression with the Primeira Liga champions, but, having secured a summer loan to Rayo Vallecano, is hoping to dazzle in Spain and get noticed by Europe’s biggest clubs again.

Ferguson admitted he had never seen Bebe play before he signed for the club.

Asked about the possibility of one day returning to United, Bebe told Portuguese website Publico: “I’ve never thought about that but nothing is impossible”.

‘If I score ten goals here for Rayo Vallecano, I’m going to have many big teams chasing me again next year’.

“Yes. The opportunity was enjoyable, but if I could go back I would slow down”.
