Chelsea boss Mourinho made Yarmolenko

Jose Mourinho’s attendance at the Euro 2016 qualifier between Ukraine and Spain in Kiev has led to speculation about who the Chelsea manager travelled to watch.

Mourinho was seen looking inconspicuous as he donned a hoody and jacket to attend the match in Kiev, which La Roja won 1-0 after Mario Gaspar scored in the 22nd minute.

However, the Star carry reports from Tuttomercatoweb that Arsenal are also in the hunt for Yarmolenko, who plays his club football for Dynamo Kyiv. Los Blancos will be reluctant to allow the former Malaga midfielder to leave, but if Chelsea make a big enough offer for the player then a deal might well be struck. He may even have been keeping an eye on reported long-term target Andriy Yarmolenko of Ukraine.

Mourinho was pictured on camera bizarrely sporting a hood, and Twitter was awash with hilarious comparisons soon after he was spotted, but it appeared to act as a few sort of disguise for the Premier League winning boss.

“Mourinho was at this game? I don’t know what to say, when would I know why he came”, the 25-year-old winger told television channel Futbol 1.

“I didn’t know that he was at the game, I was thinking about something else – about the important game against Spain”.
