As suggested by the specifications of the Moto X Force, it could be a successor to the DROID Turbo in the United States. The name Moto X Force will be specific to China, while the worldwide variant will be called the DROID Turbo 2.
The newer Motorola device offers an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. Powering the device will be a Snapdragon 810 SoC alongside an octa-core CPU, while the graphic duties will be fulfilled by an Adreno 430 GPU. During the unveiling of Droid Turbo 2, it is possible that the Motorola DROID Maxx 2 (Verizon variant of the Moto X Play) will also be revealed.
It is not surprising that a lot of attention is being lavished on the DROID Turbo 2 as the previous year’s device came with a huge battery, great screen and solid construction.

According to rumors, Motorola will launch both the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 handsets sometime this October.
