Sasha Banks’ Winning Ways, Big Show, The New Day

In double-team action, New Day held on against Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton, as the advantage in the fight alternated back and forth from the very onset of the match. There are also rumors that Dolph Ziggler could be instilled to succeed Cena though such has to be officially made.

Opening Raw with Orton and Ambrose will always get my approval. And what’s next for Sasha Banks as she seems to be on her way toward a possible shot at Charlotte’s Divas Title? Additionally, the Raw segment marked the second week in a row that The New Day was programmed with Cena, meaning that WWE has faith in what they’re doing by virtue of programming them with the face of the company.

John Cena arrived from halfway across the world just in time to protect his home turf during Monday night’s WWE Raw U.S. Open showdown against Dolph Ziggler. If not, Kofi Kingston of New Day could be his opponent since Cena has gone through Big E and Xavier Woods (via disqualification) already.

It should be no surprise, then, that during Monday’s match with Cena, Ziggler demonstrated intricacies of a villain, the most obvious being a rake of the eyes that broke up an Attitude Adjustment and allowed him to flatten the franchise with a superkick.

Backstage, Kane is on the phone with The Authority and says the show is running smoothly so far.

Roman Reigns heads to the ring for his match with Braun Strowman. The IC Title has somehow grown silent lately though the win by Owens over Ryback was something that many had not expected.

8th Match – Kalisto vs Kevin Owens: This one lasted longer than Rusev-Ryback if you can believe it, but only by a bit. Sasha tripped her and knocked her down, but the distraction allowed Nikki to hit a forearm and the Rack Attack to defeat Naomi.

Even though the storyline has Summer Rae having to wait for an engagement ring until boyfriend Rusev has a ring on his finger, it’s mirroring real life in a way.

Despite the fact that Rollins has been at the mercy of “The Demon” Kane, Rollins, who has a penchant for winning matches when he has to, will come up big and put Kane to rest, once and for all. When the ring cleared out, Kane reversed a Pedigree attempt and gave Rollins the tombstone piledriver. On Monday Night Raw, who will stand up to the trio and will Brock Lesnar be there?
