Arkansas State has built an impressive record under similar circumstances as Tuesday’s contest as the Red Wolves have won 12 of their last 15 conference road games dating back to the 2011 season and holds an 11-6 record in all midweek games since its inaugural season in the Sun Belt Conference.

The over is 19-7 in Arkansas State’s last 26 conference games and the Red Wolves will face fellow Sun Belt foe South Alabama tonight at 8:00PM ET.

South Alabama senior quarterback Cody Clements, a UAB transfer, has completed 80-of-154 passes for 1,131 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions. The over/under for this game is 58.5 total points.

Fredi Knighten passed for two touchdowns for Arkansas State (3-3, 2-0 Sun Belt) after missing three games with a groin injury.

South Alabama opened the scoring with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Cody Clements to Gerald Everett after turning A-State over on downs to begin the game.

South Alabama’s Akeem Lewis was ejected for targeting with a little less than 13 minutes remaining and his team on top by 11. Clements finished the game with a season-best 273 yards and three touchdowns, but the four second-half turnovers will be what everyone remembers.
