According to Hof, two women at the brothel found Odom unconscious Tuesday afternoon, and when they turned him onto his side, “terrible stuff came out” of his nose and mouth.

Hof, who had his own reality series, “Cathouse”, on HBO, told the Los Angeles Times and KNX-AM radio that Odom had been staying at Hof’s home that is attached to the brothel since Saturday. However, because of his stature (Odom is 6 feet 10 inches tall), he was unable to be airlifted, and was transported by the Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
His friend, Dennis Hof, said the former athlete had drunk a few cognac and taken herbal viagra since arriving at the brothel, but was unaware of whether Odom had used any other drugs.

“He just wanted to get away, have a good time and relax”, Hof told The Associated Press in a phone interview.
Odom split from reality TV star wife Khloe Kardashian in 2013. She filed for divorce in 2013, but a judge has yet to sign the papers.
The two were married in 2009 in a large ceremony that was taped for the E! network, following a whirlwind engagement that was also filmed.
He has played for several teams during 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association, including the LA Clippers, Miami, Dallas and the Lakers.

Estranged from his heroin-addict father at an early age, Odom was raised by his grandmother after his mother died of colon cancer when he was 12 years old.

In 2006, his six-month-old son Jayden died from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) as he slept in his crib in New York.
