Prez Zardari knew Laden’s presence in Abbottabad, claims ex-Pak minister

Four years after the USA Navy SEALs liquidated probably the most needed man in the world, Osama bin Laden, the founder and head of the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda, Pakistan’s former defence minister Chaudhary Ahmad Mukthar revealed that the whereabouts of Laden in Abbottabad was recognized to the then President Asif Ali Zardari.

CNN-IBN on Tuesday claimed to have exposed what it called “Pakistan’s link with Osama” by repeatedly showing short clips of an interview its anchor Zakka Jacob conducted of Pakistani ex-defence minister Ahmed Mukhtar. Mukhtar served as the defence minister in former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s cabinet.

Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2, 2011, by United States Navy SEALs of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (also known as DEVGRU or SEAL Team Six).

According to a controversial article in the London Review of Books by veteran investigative journalist Seymour M Hersh, U.S. forces killed Osama bin Laden with the full cooperation of Pakistani military and intelligence agencies, who had kept the 9/11 mastermind prisoner inside his infamous Abbottabad compound for years before the fatal raid. When asked if the Pakistanis and the leadership of Pakistan knew that Osama bin Laden was there inside their country, Abdullah said: ‘Osama bin Laden, absolutely, yes’.

According to the 10,000-word expose published on the London Review of Books website, Bin Laden was a prisoner of the Pakistan military, who not only knew of his location, but were keeping him under house arrest and accepting funds from Saudi Arabia for his upkeep. While the then Pakistan Defence Minister Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtar has turned out as the whistleblower as to why this narrative was not countered. They try suicide. They would try to complete off their our bodies by simply killing themselves.

Musharraf had maintained a similar stand. “As far as I am concerned, I am 500% sure that I did not know, whether anyone believes it or not”.

We hope these facts would make it all clear and sensible again about the slickers and tricksters of Pakistan denying terrorism and its activities on their soil.
