Reports disclosed that James Harden incurred his injury during a particularly aggressive fast break run against the Orlando Magic. James Harden apparently walked off the court and signed a few autographs after the game.

Harden, who believes that he should have won the MVP award, stated that he is focused on getting better this season especially after he gave up 12 turnovers in Game 5 of the Rockets – Golden State Warriors series. Harden believed that he was the most talented player in the league, and is confident that this year will be his. The Magic ranked in the bottom half of points allowed and field goal percentage against the last two seasons, and this is what Skiles vowed to turn around when he became the new man in charge. He was supposed to sit out the second game against the Dallas Mavericks last week but had asked to play. He is a key player to the Rocket’s success.

If this injury is in fact serious, it would be a major setback for James Harden, and for the Rockets, according to NBC Sports.

The Rockets will be lucky if the knee injury is just a bruise since it wouldn’t be much of an issue for the season.
