Lamar Odom was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel Tuesday, authorities say.

Odom was stabilized at the scene and was prepared to be airlifted to a Las-Vegas area hospital, but his “stature” made it impossible to transport him by helicopter, the release said. He was immediately transported by Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada for further treatment.
According to People, Odom’s ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, has been informed about Odom’s condition, which has been described as serious.
In another report from The Guardian, Dennis Hof, owner of the Love Ranch, explained how he and staff members had picked Lamar up the previous Saturday from a Las Vegas house.

Hof told Us that there were no signs of drugs but that “he was taking herbal viagra”.
Odom was first-team National Basketball Association All-Rookie in 2000, Sixth Man of the Year in 2011 and won titles with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010. On Tuesday morning, Hof’s employees saw Odom at 6 a.m., and then two women at the brothel went to check on him at 3 p.m. and found him unconscious, Hof said.
He married Kardashian in 2009 in a splashy televised wedding, but she filed for divorce in 2013.

Odom has played for both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers, as well as the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks. It’s no secret that Odom has had substance abuse problems in the past. During the 2010-11 season, a cousin he was close to died and Odom was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an accident in New York that killed a cyclist.
