England bowler Steven Finn ruled out of UAE tour
An England and Wales Cricket Board press release read: “Steven Finn has been ruled out of the remainder of the tour of the UAE with a bone stress injury to his left foot, which requires a period of off-loading to aid recovery”. Finn took four for 16 in England’s warm-up match against Pakistan A in Sharjah before being diagnosed with the injury.

The first Test is now in full swing in Abu Dhabi, with two more matches in that format to come before the two teams contest four one-day internationals and three Twenty20 games.
Steven Finn meanwhile tweeted that he is gutted to be heading home and needs to get better by working hard.
Jordan, who somewhat curiously was due to part of the England Performance Programme batting/spin camp in Dubai next month, was part of the Test squad for the series against New Zealand earlier this year before sustaining a side injury during the one-day series which ruled him out of contention for the Ashes.
Chris Jordan will step in for the rest of the tour of the UAE.
They tour South Africa over Christmas, with the first Test in Durban starting on Boxing Day.
Finn’s replacement, Jordan, last featured for England in the third Test against West Indies at Barbados, where he gained quite a reputation for taking reflex catches in the slip cordon.
