An Amber Alert was sent out Tuesday for 3-year-old Lupita Tellez and her mother, 20-year-old Vivianna Cruz. He now faces multiple charges stemming from the AMBER Alert earlier this evening including two counts of kidnapping. Police believe he may be driving a silver 2000 Mitsubishi Galant with the license plate No. AUP4936. Tellez is 2-feet 6-inches tall, and weighs 30 pounds.
The Amber Alert was issued about 6 p.m.; the mother and child were confirmed safe shortly after that, Yakima police said.
He is Hispanic, has black hair and brown eyes, and is 6 foot 3 and 260 pounds.
