A Rhode Island man who weighs almost 800 pounds says he’s determined to slim down and he dreams of becoming an actor one day. They expect to remove wreckage this afternoon.

The crash was reported to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue on Tuesday night after witnesses saw a small plane drop out of the sky. The name of the pilot has not been released.

Moments later it plunged into the Mar-Mak Colony Club mobile home park, fully engulfing two homes.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said crews arrived around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after several reports of a low-flying aircraft in the area and a “column of smoke” coming from the area Lake Worth Road, according to Palm Beach Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto.

Galicia said he was outside and tried to get to his daughter, but that he was met with flames when he opened the door.

“Banny, Banny, Banny, come here, come here”, he said, describing the moment he attempted to call out to his daughter.

Galicia says his daughter never made it out.

“I don’t feel anything. I feel like I’m standing on air”, said Galicia in Spanish.

She was sleeping inside when he felt the blast behind him. He spoke to her just 20 minutes before the crash.

“I went outside and I couldn’t do anything else”, he said. The Red Cross was called to assist two families, he said.

The flames have been extinguished at this point, but investigators are guarding the scene until officials from the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board arrive. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue has turned the investigation over to FAA.

While he says no one has officially confirmed that his daughter is dead, he has no hope that she survived the crash. We have no information about the aircraft or other details yet.
