Everybody knows that Marvel spends a great deal of time plotting every single move that takes place within their vast and ever-expanding cinematic universe. Case in point: There is no mention of Thor teaming up with any gamma-radiation-laden green guys in the old stories, but JoBlo is reporting that Mark Ruffalo is on board for Thor: Ragnarok nonetheless.

They didn’t reveal much details about Brucer Banner’s involvement in the film, but the report says “he’s absolutely part of the supporting cast and will feature prominently”.

When last we saw Hulk, he’d escaped the action at the end of The Avengers: Age of Ultron and had ditched his Quinjet somewhere in the vicinity of Fiji. Since the time that, gossipy tidbits have sprung up that Ruffalo was out of the establishment and concerns were raised about whether Marvel would attempt to locate another Hulk or go ahead without the character. That ended up with a big question, where the hell is the Hulk?

In other news, it looks like fans who may be disappointed with Bruce Banner/Hulk’s absence in “Captain America: Civil War” could be getting a consolation prize. Planet Hulk, anyone? Nothing is confirmed as of yet, but the pieces would certainly seem to fit.

Tom Hiddleston is set to come back as Loki for the new Thor film, and Jaimie Alexander will be Lady Sif again.

Cinema Blend also reports that Thor: Ragnarok may be introducing another female heroine in the form of Valkyrie, an Asgardian warrior ad leader o the the Valkyrior, a group that takes worthy fallen soldiers up to Valhalla. I really like the choice of Taika Waititi as director for the film, and I’m getting very excited to see what this one is.

Do you think Thor and Hulk would make a good team in “Thor: Ragnarok”?
