YouTube Now Supporting 60fps Video Playback for Android and iOS
That time is now, with the folks at YouTube officially announcing that 60fps video playback is now finally possible in their Android and iOS apps.

In March, YouTube introduced the 360-degree video support on the video platform.
In addition to YouTube 60fps video streaming enabled on YouTube Android and iOS Apps, 60fps YouTube is also available for the PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles and the Apple TV. While some enjoy the experience of seeing video run at the twice (or more) the framerate of a typical 24FPS movie, others have found the level of detail off-putting.
The newly added fps feature on the iOS and Android app are exhibited in two different variants. If you happen to be on a limited data amount per month, you may want to stick to 480p or 720p streaming while on a carrier network connection, just to make sure you do not hit your data cap too fast in one month. It will necessitate users to alter the quality settings on the YouTube app. Nonetheless, if the users are accustomed to open YouTube through a smartphone site or through a third-party app such as in the Windows phone, then they are at the moment out of luck. This includes an updated comments monitoring mechanism that Google is putting into place to reduce spam and junk.
YouTube, Inc.is a consumer media company for people to watch and share original videos through a Web experience.
