Ivanka Trump says dad Donald Trump’s dustup with Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly following the first Republican presidential debate was “very sensationalized”.

Clinton had only good things to say about Ivanka Trump during a recent interview. She said she was not surprised by her father’s frontrunner status in the GOP and said that whether you love or hate him, his outsider approach has changed the nature of the 2016 campaign.

Even as Ivanka Trump defended her father Wednesday – she said she could not be an executive at his company “if I wasn’t able to excel in that environment”.

This morning Trump appeared in a picture with another Clinton confidante, Anne-Marie Slaughter, who now heads the New America Foundation, but once held one of the top posts at State, during Hillary Clinton’s tenure.
