According to the report, Holiday played with stress fractures in his right leg during his final season with the 76ers.
Today, the league figured out that the Sixers had not fully disclosed the injury news to the Pelicans. Philadelphia general manager Sam Hinkie refused to comment on the report, but a team source has said that the allegation is untrue. If true, that’s some pretty shady stuff from the Sixers front office.
The 76ers traded Holiday on draft night of 2013 to the Pelicans for Nerlens Noel.
Holiday’s first season in New Orleans ended prematurely.
The injury bug bit him again this past season, when he only played half of the regular season because of a right lower-leg stress reaction. He was forced to undergo season-ending surgery in February 2014 for a stress fracture in his right tibia.

Of course, the Pelicans and Sixers gave the incoming players physicals before the trades became official.
This has not been reported or confirmed by the league, which makes the situation interesting because a team source denied the report.
The Philadelphia 76ers have filed a grievance with the NBA against the Los Angeles Lakers, alleging that the Lakers knew more about Andrew Bynum’s injuries than they disclosed and asking for three million dollars as compensation, according to Howard Eskin of Fox 29 in Philadelphia.

“They are saying the Lakers didn’t disclose all of the information about Bynum’s knees”, one of the sources said.
