As usual, Patriots playing down any intrigue in next game
Based on what happened the last time these two teams met, the Patriots will be looking to demolish the Colts in the worst way possible.

There’s plenty of potential for distraction after the “Deflategate” scandal when the Patriots were accused of deflating footballs in last January’s 45-7 conference title game rout of the Colts. New England quarterback Tom Brady, fingered by the Wells Report as the mastermind behind DeflateGate, was suspended four games to open this season. The argument? The Patriots are rampaging this season, scoring a combined 68 points against the Steelers and Bills in the first two games and then hitting another gear – blowing out the Jaguars and Cowboys by a combined 81-23 – because they’re angry. Few expect the Colts to put any sort of resistance against New England because of how putrid their run defense has been in the past against them. “For us, it’s the same mentality as always, and that’s prepare well, and that starts Wednesday, that starts today, that starts tomorrow – even on your day off, doing the best you can to watch film”. The Thursday night game gives the Colts a few extra time to rest and heal up, which they need use wisely with the 4-0 New England Patriots coming to town. “I think it’s a very good team”. They seem to have adopted an us against the world mantra. All signs point to this game being long night for the Colts in Indianapolis. “That’s when the games are won”. But the main concern is if Andrew Luck is at 100 percent after dealing with a shoulder injury.
“They’re both great quarterbacks”, said Ninkovich. The Patriots will pressure Luck and make throw bad passes.

Power running back LeGarrette Blount punched in four TDs for the Pats and the defense prevented Indy from scoring a single touchdown. On the ground, Laggarrette Blount rushed for 74 yards in 13 attempts while Dion Lewis added 34 yards in six attempts. “A lot of guys commented on it, but you know, just trying to get past that now and just try to focus up and get ready for this week”. It’s going to be tough for the Colts to make into a shootout. “It’s going to be an electric atmosphere and hopefully, we play well”. “Everyone’s good, everyone has a lot of athletes and a lot of good football players, so this is no different”.
