Need Help With Apple Music? Head to Twitter

The free Apple Music trials are at an end, so the technology giant is looking for new ways to engage existing users and entice in new ones – and it’s starting with a Twitter account. And now, in a first for Apple, there’s a customer service account – dedicated exclusively to Apple Music – on Twitter.

Apple employees and executives have widely supported the company’s decision to be more open on social media in recent months.

Between 6 AM and 8 PM PDT, you’ll be able to get help with Apple Music specific questions, though the account will direct you to its normal support page for any other queries.

Back in late June, Apple’s Eddy Cue mentioned on Twitter that the company was working to increase the matched track limit from 25,000 to 100,000 in iOS 9.

Apple’s $25/year iTunes Match service and Apple Music’s matching feature allow users to add their own songs that are not available from the iTunes Store catalog to the cloud, making them available on other devices using the same Apple ID.

Although Apple seldom acknowledges shoddy work, the company seems to be aware of these problems with Apple Music, and is taking steps to educate users. So far, the account has already received plenty of bug reports, missing playlists, songs and incorrect song/album matchups.
