Former Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers forward Lamar Odom, who was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, remained hospitalized in Las Vegas Wednesday with members of the Kardashian family believed to be holding vigil nearby.

Lamar reportedly arrived at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada on Saturday (Oct. 10) for a few days of partying and relaxation.
Kardashian has been by Odom’s side at a Las Vegas hospital since Tuesday evening, according to a person close to the Kardashians.
Paramedics treated him on the scene before rushing him to a Las Vegas hospital.
“We called 911, and the 911 told my staff what to do: turn him over on his left side”, Hof said. He was transported from the legal brothel to Desert View Hospital in Pahrump. It makes me wonder if it’s just a need to be in the spotlight for Piers, or a need to say an opinion that he knows will get people’s blood boiling.
People have always seemed to root for Odom, whose prematurely weathered face wore the impact of his personal tragedies in a friendly way, seeming to acknowledge his lowest points even when he reached the heights of pop-culture fame.
A distraught Metta World Peace, a former teammate of Odom’s, was lost for words upon hearing the news about his childhood friend.
Despite her family’s objection, she regularly talked to her ex-husband by phone during episodes of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” this season.
“He just wanted to get away, have a good time and relax”, Hof told the Associated Press.
He has attended rehab on multiple occasions, but a relapse paid a major role in his eventual divorce from Khloe Kardashian.

Witnesses at the Las Vegas hospital where Lamar Odom is fighting for his life have claimed the star had cocaine in his system when he was admitted. He followed up in the middle of the night with, “I can’t help but to be up right now…”
A statement issued by Lamar’s rep to Us Weekly today said: “Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar”.

Many of Odom’s former Lakers teammates as well as a handful of National Basketball Association players have turned to social media to wish him the best and pray for his recovery.
