Odom’s troubles have continued, which typifies a tragic life story that includes the death of his mother from cancer when he was just 12 years old, the death of a his 6 1/2-month-old son from SIDS in June 2006, and a hard relationship with his drug-addicted father.

Former Laker and Clipper Lamar Odom was rushed to a Nevada hospital late Tuesday night after being found unconscious due to a drug overdose in a brothel – Odom remains in critical condition as doctors work to revive him.
Hof said Odom was taking a Viagra-like herbal supplement, but denied drugs were involved. Kobe Bryant was also reportedly at Odom’s side, along with Rob Kardashian and Scott Disick.
Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada and taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center by medics. A source close to the Kardashian family revealed that Kim Kardashian – accompanied by an unknown family member – went with her sister to Sunrise hospital.
The sheriff said the man identified as Odom was treated by physicians and taken to hospital in nearby Pahrump, Nevada, before being transported to a Las Vegas hospital.
Although Odom and Kardashian filed for divorce earlier this year and separated for over a year before that, a backlog in the courts means the split might not be final for another two months.
“We called 911 and they said, ‘Get him on his left side, ‘” Hof said.
Reverend Jesse Jackson is still hopeful that Lamar Odom will pull through, even as the former Lakers forward lies comatose and on life support in a Las Vegas hospital. Keeping Up With the Kardashians is on hiatus and it’s not clear how E! will deal with the new season, which features discussion of Khloe and Lamar’s divorce, in light of recent news. Odom had not played in the National Basketball Association since 2013.

The girls reportedly found Odom unconscious on the bed lying face-down at which point emergency services were called. “I know at least people in New York that know him, say he’s a great guy”.
