NPR notes that the democratic debate delivered punches which are “policy-focused and far more civil” compared with Republican debates.

From the Hillary Clinton email scandal, to Planned Parenthood, to the Black Lives Matter movement, their responses generated plenty of buzzed-about moments.
Former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb, a former Vietnam war hero and senator from Virginia, and Lincoln Chafee, another ex-governor, have barely registered in the polls. Remember, even if you’re a Democratic news junkie and know about Sanders and his campaign, there are many people for whom this was the first time seeing speak live for a substantial amount of time. Clinton and Sanders weren’t the only ones facing tough questions.
Senator Sanders got Americans thinking about socialism, and Sec. I’m seeing that there’s a reason that Hillary and Bernie are in front. Clinton also saw her lead over Sen. “In 1999, you voted for the very bill that made banks bigger”, Cooper said.
“I think it would be really unfair not to look at the entire picture”, she said. This committee has spent $4.5 million of taxpayer money. “I think a few of the issues seem obvious what they are talking about”.
The Washington Post writing, “Front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton dominated the debate stage Tuesday night”. Out there with the world and we have fix work to be done.
“Credibility is an issue”, he said.
CNN debate moderator Anderson Cooper asked whether Clinton wanted to respond.
“Bernie Sanders has used Sweden, Norway and particularly Denmark as examples of societies with a good work/life balance, maternity leave, single payer (government paid) health care for all, free tuition at universities, etc., although he doesn’t support the past twenty years’ xenophobia in Denmark”, Miller said. How he handled the “damn emails” question might still help him because he articulated what a lot of Democratic voters are feeling.
Minutes later, the Vermont senator gave his competitors an opening when he said gun makers aren’t responsible for mass shootings. I’m sick of that.
The line, once again, got major applause.
“Let’s treat each other civilly, let’s treat each other respectfully, and let’s try not to demonize people who may have disagreements with us”, he said.
The place was packed, full of mainly Bernie Sanders supporters.
In real debates the participants ask each other questions, who follow up by answering, then asking more questions.
“We need to combat institutional racism from top to bottom, and we need major major reforms in a broken criminal justice system in which we have more people in jail than China”, Sanders said. “No, I don’t. I believe in a society where all people do well – not just a handful of billionaires”. She had to defend her shifting views of the Keystone XL oil pipeline and the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Clinton took a veiled shot at Biden by emphasizing her involvement in President Barack Obama’s decision to authorize the raid that killed former al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

Clinton certainly is. The former Secretary of State stopped by a union rally outside Donald Trump’s hotel on the strip.
