OnePlus might be struggling to get its second phone into people’s hands, but that hasn’t stopped it from pressing ahead with another handset launch.

The Chinese startup has confirmed it will reveal the new smartphone at a launch event in London.

OnePlus was founded in 2013 upon the idea of creating industry-competitive smartphones at a much more reasonable cost than its large-brand rivals. The release of more phones also isn’t that surprising considering the fact that co-founder Carl Pei has said that there would be more phone releases before the end of the year. Both its phones have been successful and recently, the company also announced that it will be partaking in the “Make in India” initiative, which is being propelled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The story behind the story: OnePlus is a company that hasn’t quite lived up to the grand superlatives to which it describes its products. The listing had not detailed the price or availability, but had apparently revealed all the key specifications of the OnePlus smartphone.

An interesting tidbit is the possible inclusion of ClearForce technology from Synaptics, which uses a pressure-sensitive display like Apple’s iPhone 6s.

A new OnePlus smartphone has leaked through the FCC as One E1005. This system helps the company balance the demand and supply of its offerings in the global markets. A few reports have indicated that the new model has been spotted already, with initial descriptions that the phone has a metal build and is somewhat revamped from its predecessors.
