The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports (http://bit.ly/1jpyc6t ) that officers had responded to Hope Avenue Wednesday night after receiving a call of shots fired. That area is south of the SU campus.
Police say no arrest has been made at this point, however. Two suspects dumped their auto and fled into Oakwood Cemetery, where police searched until about midnight before calling off the search.
