The Big Bang Theory star announced she was ending her 21-month union to tennis player Ryan last month (Sep15) and she subsequently filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences for the split.
But the co-stars confirmed on Wednesday that they are just friends. Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are jus the best of buds – Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!’ She threw in a ton of heart emojis in there too or good measure. However, they both took to Instagram on Wednesday (Oct. 14, 2015) to set the record straight once and for all.
Galecki, 40, chimed in with a similar photo and message, saying, “No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y’all”.
Rumours however came a-coming again that the couple were back together when 29-year-old Kaley and her husband of two years, Ryan Sweeting, were seeking a divorce.
Despite the rumors, Kaley Cuoco, Ryan Sweeting and Johnny Galecki have remained mum over the issue.
Johnny also reiterated the platonic nature of their relationship on his Instagram. Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied.
But even after their real-life breakup, the actors’ Big Bang Theory characters continued a romantic relationship, finally marrying in this season’s premiere. “Just profound friendship”, the pic was captioned. “By the grace of God, we became best buddies and moved on in such an elegant way…” During her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live”, the actress was asked what it feels like to be working with an ex-boyfriend.

“We dated like five years ago, so I think everyone’s moved on”, she said. It’s a situation that ended well. And Johnny’s actually one of my best friends.
