Pipes for iOS is a smart, automated, to-the-point news app

The update features a new look that allows users to access a variety of features without leaving the homepage. The new approach makes advertising as easy as possible and this is what differentiates it from other ad-based products. It also doesn’t switch to cellular if you’re roaming.

Android M and iOS 9 for the most part look identical. Both OSes also haven’t changed (visually) much this time around.

To disable Wi-Fi Assist you have to go to Settings Cellular on your iOS device and toggle “Cellular” off. To be completely honest – you’ll probably turn this off pretty much straight away as I’ve certainly found (as have many others) that this can drain your battery and result in you using a lot more mobile data (where the phone has turned off Wi-Fi but you think it’s still on) than you ever expect to. The option is missing on a few older Apple devices, including the iPhone 4S, the iPad 2, and the first-generation iPad mini.

This means that you will open YouTube for example and will start watching videos, or if you have your own channel, start uploading a new video.

If you can’t be bothered to watch what each of the apps you’re using does at all times, you can always disable the cellular data for any of them. And actually, that’s probably still true. iOS 9 doesn’t feature any big new privacy features-but it’s still protects your data just as well. According to DxOMark, a website that runs cameras and mobile devices through industry-standard image quality tests, several Android phones performed better then the iPhone 6s and 6 Plus. And while both payment platforms are identical, the nice thing about Android M is that is now natively supports fingerprint scanners on Android devices. Once you activate Slide Over, you can swipe down on the new highlighted section on the right to show a reel of the apps that support Slide Over and while the beta was limited to just a few apps, there are plenty of third party productivity apps that now support Slide Over, including Excel, Buffer, Outlook, Slack, Twitter and Word. Each is also an example of how the two major smartphone OSes are slowly moving towards feature parity with each other-borrowing the best of each other’s features.
