Oregon State senior guard Gary Payton II has been named one of 20 college basketball players on the Bob Cousy Award Watch List, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday.

Morris, a junior, is listed for the Bob Cousy Award, given to the nation’s best point guard.
This is Paige’s second time on the Cousy Award watch list as he seeks to become the fourth Roy Williams era point guard to win it. Raymond Felton, Ty Lawson and Kendall Marshall were all named recipients of that award during their respective final seasons in Chapel Hill.
Mykhailiuk started six games last season for Kansas and averaged 11.2 minutes and 2.8 points per contest.
Now that we are into full preseason mode that means there are preseason teams and award watch lists to ponder. He was a finalist for the honor last season while averaging 15.3 points and earning All-America accolades.
“The Bob Cousy Award promotes the values of leadership, determination, and teamwork, all skills needed not only on the hardwood but also in life”, said Ken Kaufman, Chair of the Bob Cousy Award and former president of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
Gbinije is one of four ACC players among the candidates.
Each watch list contains the top 20 players at its position. Niang has been named to the preseason All-Big 12 team. The Roxbury, Massachusetts guard led the Jayhawks with 46 three-pointers made and was second in assists with 95.
This past summer, Lo represented Germany at the 2015 University Games and EuroBasket, in his hometown of Berlin.
