What’s Next? Jacksonville Jaguars must beat Texans

With the talent to be a contender, the Texans seemed just a quarterback away from making a playoff push again.

As for their opponent, the Texans have 1-4 SU and ATS records this season. Bortles is coming off easily the best game of his career, passing for 303 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. Shifting to the other side of the ball, the Houston defense could excel if they take advantage of favorable matchups.

The Jaguars return home this week following three straight road losses. Jacksonville will have its work cut out for it when Houston comes to returning the ball. He has a 102.6 passer rating in the first half of games compared to 76.1 in the second half.

The Texans have had a few extra days to prepare following a loss to the Indianapolis Colts last Thursday. The Texans are averaging 300.0 net passing yards and 396.2 total net yards per game this season, which rank fourth and fifth in the league, respectively.
