Who won Democratic presidential debate? Donald Trump, apparently

If you really want to know who won last night’s debate, wait for the next batch of polls.

“It’s important too that the United States make it very clear to Putin that it’s not acceptable for him to be in Syria creating more chaos, bombing people on behalf of Assad, and we can’t do that if we don’t take more of a leadership position, which is what I’m advocating”, Clinton said.

That’s when Sanders chimed in with his support, while acknowledging that it “may not be great politics”, to do so.

One of Bernie Sanders main talking points throughout his campaign, as well as during the debate last night, has been the future of Social Security. “The fact that he was a gentleman and didn’t take advantage of it says a lot”.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said Wednesday that Clinton was locked in “a race to the left to see who could be the most radically liberal, the most big government”.

“Because it was the right thing to do”, he replied.

Still, with over a year before Election Day, there will be more tests to come. O’Malley picked up 5,200 and Webb 3,000.

Joe Trippi, another Democratic strategist and former campaign manager, agreed that despite Sanders’s concern, he probably didn’t do that much damage. There are even suggestions she allowed Russian Federation to gain effective control of a huge chunk of America’s uranium deposits in return for a donation to her foundation.

Before the Hillary Clinton coronation begins could we just re-roll the CNN debate tape briefly.

LISA DESJARDINS: Clinton wouldn’t go that far, but said that banks need strong scrutiny.

The debate covered a range of topics, including gun control, the American health care system, foreign policy issues and prevailing controversies. Trump, who it should be noted added more Twitter followers on the evening than all of the Democratic candidates combined, had his campaign cut a quick video decrying Sanders’s lack of “tough” or “strong” leadership on Instagram. But he’s still introducing himself to voters nationally – a task made obvious Tuesday night as he had to explain his identity as a “democratic socialist” and decried the focus on Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state.

Clinton’s performance solidified her position as the Democrat to beat.

“It’s clearly the Hillary and Bernie show”, said Rosen.

While in Los Angeles, Sanders will also tape appearances on the Friday editions of the syndicated daytime talk show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “Real Time with Bill Maher”. Martin O’Malley, former Virginia Sen. Clinton got a few attention, as did Webb. “Sanders is saying certainly makes sense in the terms of the inequality that we have”, Clinton said.
