Earlier this week it was reported that 60 Minute Makeover star Michelle Watt had taken her own life. Her heartbroken dad asserted her life had become “horrendous” and she was in constant ache and suffered during sleepless nights at home. “From that point her life was horrendous”, Watt told Scottish newspaper The Daily Record.
“Her appetite went and the weight was falling off her. She had no enthusiasm – she didn’t want to see anyone or go anywhere”. Michelle Watt with dad Jim “The spark just went”.
Doctors discovered that Michelle had calcium deposits on her optical nerve after giving her MRI and CAT scans.
Jim, who also lost his son Jim Jnr in a auto crash 20 years ago, said that Michelle had fallen into depression after pain caused by an operation.
Jim paid tribute to his daughter, describing her as “the most wonderful girl in the world”.
Michelle was discovered dead last week by her vehicle sales manager husband Paul Kerr, 43, at the luxury home in Airth, Stirlingshire, which the couple shared with their five-year-old daughter, Jaymi, who was named in memory of her late uncle. “We’re all totally devastated by this”.
Lorraine Kelly wrote: “Absolutely shocked to hear of death of Michelle Watt”.
Police Scotland have said that there are no suspicious circumstances around Michelle’s death and a report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
He said: “I remember someone said Clooney had the same procedure and the pain made him contemplate killing himself”.
He added: “Now and again she went back to her own house but I was spending every single minute of my time with her”.
