Apple updates iMac family with new Ultra HD and 5K Retina displays
Here are the new accessories, along with a few existing offerings that are frequently ranked as the best accessories for the iMac. New models have just been released, design-wise they look identical to the previous ones (but then why mess with a great look) but inside there’s new stuff to get excited about. Of course, the main allure of Apple’s shiny new piece of hardware is the machine’s 4K display with 9.4 million pixels. Sadly Netflix isn’t available yet in 4K through a web browser, and iTunes doesn’t support 4K streaming either, so entertainment options are a bit thin on the ground. With a Retina display now on the 21.5-inch iMac and every 27-inch iMac, iMac with Retina display is more affordable than ever.

As for accessories, all-new Magic Mouse 2, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Trackpad 2 have all been released as well.
The updated 27-inch 5K iMacs models also surpassed their predecessors considerably.
All of the products have new names; the new Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad are called the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2.
Apart from the new 4K iMac model, the company has upgraded last year’s 27in iMac with the six-generation Intel Core processors and dedicated AMD Radeon R9 M395 graphics.
The new Retina displays feature a wider color gamut that brings more brilliant and true-to-life colors to your desktop.
The Magic Trackpad 2 comes equipped with Force Touch technology, the variable-pressure interface system Apple first introduced on its laptops. That’s because Apple is using new display technology that can show 25% more colors – mostly reds, greens, and yellows. With the aid of the four Force Touch sensors that have been incorporated into the device, users will be able to employ different levels of pressure, and check content with the aid of the Force Click function, which, for example, can open up a web link as a preview. Each unit will come with the new Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse included. El Capitan builds on the groundbreaking features and lovely design of OS X Yosemite, with updates to window management, built-in apps and Spotlight® search, and performance improvements to make everyday activities – like launching and switching apps, opening PDFs and accessing email – faster and more responsive.
However, it’s bit odd that Apple’s new Magic Keyboard come with less key travel this time around, as it’s mostly a feature to save space on the MacBook, whereas you don’t need to do that with a dedicated keyboard.

Shares of Apple closed yesterday at $111.60. The stock’s 50-day moving average is $111.72 and its 200-day moving average is $121.46. The new trackpad almost doubles the price tag of the old model, now costing $129. Huberty has a success rate of 61.7% and is ranked #128 out of 3775 analysts, while Seymore has a success rate of 72.2% and is ranked #36.
