It’s also widely believed that only Thor, or those worthy, could lift the fabled hammer.

Replica Mjolnir hammers that look just like the one carried by Thor in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe aren’t that hard to come by, if you have enough disposable income. Naturally, Pan’s set the sensor to register his thumb only, making him the sole person worthy to pick up the homemade weapon. That is unless you possess Pan’s thumbprint, which another sensor on the handle recognizes to turn off the magnet.
The resulting magnetic pull is so strong that the hammer is impossible to lift when placed on any metal surface. The handle of the hammer, meanwhile, contains a capacitive touch fingerprint sensor attached to an Arduino Pro Mini microcontroller and a solid state relay.
The handle of the hammer has a finger print scanner and the head encloses an electromagnet.
Using a thumbprint scanner, the hammer’s electromagnet disengages when its builder lifts it, but stays stuck when anyone else tries.
