The fight that took place in the stadium parking lot after the National League Division Series opener between Los Angeles and the New York Mets left one person critically injured. The victim is in stable but critical condition at the hospital.
An argument between fans quickly escalated into violence, Hernandez said.
Channel 7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles interviewed a witness at the scene who said the attacker was tall, with long, blond hair.
A witness told KABC the man was “bleeding profusely from the head” after getting punched and hitting the ground.
A violent fight broke out between Dodgers and Mets fans outside of Dodger Stadium, leaving a Mets fan in critical condition Friday night. Chief Charlie Beck, during a press conference earlier today, said a review of surveillance videos might reveal more information about the suspects and encouraged witnesses to come forward.

The beating, which drew national attention, also led to an increased security presence at the stadium. “But it is a big facility and you can’t be everywhere all the time”. Stow sued the team at the time, and was awarded $18 million in damages. It wasn’t clear whether those involved were fans of rival teams. “Since Bryan Stow, we have enhanced stadium security significantly”, Beck said. Two men later were imprisoned after pleading guilty. “We will be a presence”.
