Antonio Brown to Mike Vick: ‘Trust me to make plays’
Getting a victory against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday is definitely the priority for Brown and Vick, and the quarterback knows getting the ball in Brown’s hands is away to do that. But the drop off from Roethlisberger has been sharp, especially for a team built on the strength of what many consider to be the league’s top offense.

The last two games he has had only 42 and 45 yards respectively, with no touchdowns, with Mike Vick at quarterback. Considering Roethlisberger is one to scramble out of the pocket and get hit on more plays than other quarterbacks, it wouldn’t be the wisest decision to send him out and risk further injury.
Needless to say, Brown wants to get more involved in the offense. “So he’s just trying to do what’s right just to put the team in position and make sure he doesn’t mess up”.
“As long as we keep winning, that’s all it’s about”. “Obviously, I want to make plays, that’s what I’m here for”.
“It’s very important. That’s something I’m still working on”, Vick said.
Steelers remain enthused by Ben Roethlisberger’s progress but no expectation he plays this weekend at this point.
When finding out the injury was a sprained MCL and the timeline being a 4-to-6 week rehabilitation process, the Steelers knew that Roethlisberger would do everything possible to either return in that time period or beforehand. He said he is able to throw fine and move straight forward. “And like I said, the defense can do something different that doesn’t allow you that unless you’re forcing the ball into that spot”. But Ben Roethlisberger is likely still out for this week, reports indicate. The biggest loser with Vick on the field is Antonio Brown who has been quiet since Roethlisberger went down.
“I still think he has a little ways to go”, Brown said.

The Pittsburgh Steelers rumors regarding Michael Vick could grow if the gap continues to widen in the AFC North. The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a 5-0 start, and even a few more losses by the Steelers could start to put the division out of reach.
