Vin Diesel Reveals That Furious 8 Will Be Set In New York

The actor, famous his role in Fast & Furious, visited Jimmy Fallon’s show to promote his upcoming horror film, The Last Witch Hunter, out in theaters October 23. “How could you ask me to be in that?'” Diesel says, laughing.

Vin Diesel, who was born Mark Sinclair, had said on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in 2009 that their daughter, who also goes by Hania Riley Sinclair, is named after an Iberian princess. Known for his huge online presence, Fallon will brings along with him numerous popular segments, celebrity sketches and musical parodies that fans have grown to love on “Late Night”, including #Hashtags, Thank You Notes and Slow Jam the News. “I believe in you – that you will make an awesome movie”, Diesel read from his phone while on “The Tonight Show.”

Furthermore, the 37-year-old actress said that “Fast and Furious 8” will stay away from “exaggerated explosions and insane plot lines”, as it tries to remain “true to Paul’s wishes”. At this point, we wouldn’t be surprised if the final action scene involves the crew piloting the Space Shuttle off the Brooklyn Bridge or something.

Now that Gray is set to direct the film, the April 14, 2017 release date is looking pretty solid.
