Cameron: IS militants are plotting ‘terrible’ attacks in Britain

Speaking about the attack in Sousse, Tunisia where at least 15 Britons were killed by two gunmen linked to the militant group, Cameron insisted that the battle against extremists targeting Britons around the world can be won but will require ‘extraordinary resolve and patience’.

Cameron said “so-called” could be used or “ISIL” (for Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).

In the Commons he said the use of Islamic State is ‘particularly offensive to many Muslims who see, as I see, not state but a barbaric regime of terrorism and oppression that takes delight in murder and oppressing women and murdering people because they are gay’.

They argue that USA Secretary of State John Kerry and the French foreign minister Laurent Fabius both use Daesh.

“It is an existential threat because what is happening here is the perversion of a great religion and the creation of this poisonous death cult is seducing too many young minds”, Cameron told BBC radio. He pointed out the importance of getting terminology right and not using the name “Islamic State“. The Islamic State terrorist group, which is predominantly active in Iraq and Syria, claimed responsibility for the shooting.

But Mr Cameron replied: “I personally think that using the term ISIL or ‘so-called” would be better than what they now do.

“I think that an agreement – providing security and stability that we want – between the Greek government and the euro union will be the best for Britain’s interests especially in an instable environment”, he said.

Surprisingly, David Cameron agreed and backed the petition which consisted of 120 MP’s sent to the BBC Director General, Tony Hall.

‘I wish the BBC would stop calling it Islamic State because it’s not an Islamic State; what it is an appalling, barbarous regime, ’ Mr Cameron said.

“The use of the titles: Islamic State, ISIL and ISIS gives legitimacy to a terrorist organisation that is not Islamic nor has it been recognised as a state and which a majority of Muslims aorund the World finds despicable and insulting to their peaceful religion”.

‘We hope that you will take up this issue and adopt Daesh as the official title for them.’.

In a statement her family said: “We are devastated with the tragic loss of the most lovely, amazing, caring and gentle person in our lives”.

The terror group which started as part of the notorious Al-Qaeda, first called itself Islamic State, but in June 2014 self-appointed itself as a “caliphate” deluding themselves further into thinking their terror rampage has any credibility whatsoever.
