Normally, newlywed Justin Theroux is relatively private when it comes to his relationship with wife, Jennifer Aniston.

The couple had made a decision to only tell certain guests with hectic schedules that it was actually their wedding, while pretending to others that it was just a birthday party.

“When DeGeneres pointed out that motorcycles can be very risky, The Leftovers star said, “[Aniston] does not like it. She doesn’t feel in control sitting behind someone driving fast on a motorcycle, which I understand.

He talked about trying to keep their wedding day a secret from guests by pretending it was a birthday party, but when a few said they couldn’t make it, they had to give in and tell them.

The 44-year-old gushed that he loves being able to call Aniston, 46, his “wife” now.

In his interview with Ellen, Justin explains, “the first couple days of [marriage], t’s a great feeling”. Justin revealed, “Well it was actually a massive miscalculation”.

“We thought, ‘We’re gonna tell a few people this and a few people that.’ …We kind of realized that was a bad plan”, he said.

The Mulholland Drive actor added, ‘There were people there who were just in jeans.

“Afterwards, we realised that was a awful plan, because you’re basically telling half your guests, ‘You’re unemployed and we can’t trust you, ‘ which of course is not the case. We’re like, no it’s just a barbecue”.

Justin added that prior to their actual nuptials, their friends would show up to get togethers expecting a surprise wedding and dressed to the nines!
