“I was just making sure my family was okay …”

The accident happened on October 3 in Montgomery County, Tennessee just two miles from the church where the ceremony took place.
Ray’s mother took a photo of the bride while she was on the way to the scene of the accident.
Her grandparents and father left in one vehicle. “We hopped in the auto with my sister and her husband and headed to the crash”.
When she arrived she found her grandmother being loaded into the ambulance after suffering bruising from the airbags.
But Ray’s day was not ruined. Her father was injured, but went to the reception anyway.
Ray on the other hand couldn’t believe her mother was still taking photos at the scene of the crash.
“I just have to laugh because I know the face I’m giving my mom is the ‘Really, mom?” Sarah picked up the train of her lovely gown and got down to business. A groomsmen was right behind the crash when it happened and was the first to respond.
Ray’s boss, Chief Jimmy Edwards, wasn’t surprised at all to hear about Ray’s actions on her wedding day.
“Now that’s dedication”, the post reads. “Ray, who has been a paramedic for five years, said she and her groom jumped into a auto and rushed to the scene without a second thought”. But she still remains humble about her wedding day act of kindness, especially since she was simply helping her grandparents, USA Today reported.
