America’s largest abortion provider released a statement on Tuesday stating that their clinics will no longer accept reimbursements for fetal tissue donations.
According to Planed Parenthood, its fetal tissues programs are now conducted in two states, California and Washington where about a half-dozen of the 700 health centers run by the organization in the states.
“Planned Parenthood is more concerned about its bottom line than about the health and safety of women”, Thayer stated before the House Judiciary Committee on October. 8.
By law, the lab must send pathology reports to both Planned Parenthood and the Department of Health and Senior Services.
With its decision, PPFA is taking opponents’ “smokescreen away”, Richards wrote.

Planned Parenthood did not respond to a request regarding how much the organization will lose financially by participating in the fetal organ and tissue donation program without receiving reimbursements. Past year alone it was involved in more than 300,000 abortions. However, Green said, Herbert had concern that the national Planned Parenthood organization may be “coloring outside the lines”.
