Live GIF Turns iPhone 6s Live Photos Into GIFs
Priime today launched a new app called Live GIF, letting users easily turn their Live Photos into GIFs that are viewable on all devices and the web. The new Live photos can be seen only on i0S 9 and sharing such photos to the non-iOS users had been the point of pain, thankfully that will be eliminated with this app. Launch the app and it automatically detects any Live Photos on your phone, displays them in a grid (as shown below).

Apple users who were bored of shooting bursts of static photos had Live Photos, which took pictures and recorded a short video clip using the same content, simultaneously.
It is not the first software that the team behind Live GIF released. Users are required to just tap the Live Photo they want to turn into a GIF and the app takes care of the rest, turning it to a shareable GIF.
With the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple unveiled Live Photos, which take a snippet of video as you’re taking a picture.
“We chose to go further and push to get it working with iOS 9.0 so we wouldn’t have to wait for 9.1 to come out of beta”, Chang adds.
The app is extremely easy and quick to use.
Firstly, download the app from iTunes.
Live GIF is built to be quick and simple – no complicated flows, no sign up, just open your Live Photos and share them. The app also offers the option to save the new file as a video instead of GIF. Files can then be uploaded to social media, sent to friends via messenger apps or attached to emails. After opening, you’ll be greeted with all of the Live Photos on your device.
At least for me, the Live Photos feature of the iPhone 6s is one of the best reasons to upgrade to Apple’s latest handset.
Live GIF is now priced at $1.99/£1.49/AU$2.99 in the App Store.
