NASCAR Announces Base Rules Package for 2016
In a move it hopes will improve the quality of racing, NASCAR announced Wednesday a low-downforce aerodynamic package at all but two of its tracks for the 2016 season. Will fans care? The real question is, why wouldn’t they? And drivers expressed approval for the modifications that increase action on the track. “This will result in an intense winter coming up at Roush Yates Engines, preparing to defend the 2015 Daytona 500 win with Team Penske and Joey Logano”. “We’re not the overall favorites and we’re not underdogs”.
