Friday’s gift: Temperatures in the mid-80s

The weekend’s forecast might seem unseasonable, but it’s not all that uncommon, according to Amy Seeley, meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

Sunday will be partly cloudy, breezy, and continued cool as high pressure will remain in control of the weather for the region.

In Madison on Friday, look for sunny skies, with a cool high near 47 and northwest winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Friday: It will be a pleasant, Fall-like, day as temperatures climb in to the upper 50’s and lower 60’s.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a freeze watch, in effect from late tonight through Saturday morning. Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers after 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50.

Saturday: Sunny and Becoming Breezy.

MONDAY NIGHT: Chilly overnight low temperatures will return Monday night, with mostly clear skies and low temperatures around 39 degrees.

“Actual temperatures will dip into the 30s in the urban areas on Saturday night and Sunday night”. Overnight, more clouds will gather, according to the weather service, and Friday’s high will be around 84 degrees. A few parts could see isolated showers later this afternoon, though most of the day will be dry.
