Trump takes shot at George W. Bush over 9/11
Last quarter, Clinton brought in most of her money from lawyers, $3.1 million, while Bush drew about $845,000.

What’s more, Bush has been spending money faster than a few of his Republican counterparts.
“This far exceeds the level of transparency offered by other candidates in the field”, campaign spokeswoman Allie Brandenburger said, “above and beyond the disclosure requirements”.
Campaign finance laws limit the amount of money a donor can give to a candidate for federal office to a maximum of $5,400 – $2,700 for the primary election and $2,700 for the general election.
Sanders has been pretty picky about donations, too.
Clinton has also made inroads on Wall Street. Earlier this month, her campaign reported that it had spent 90 percent of the money it raised over the summer, giving it one of the highest burn rates of any of the candidates. While Clinton has been staffing up and running TV ads, Sanders’s campaign has been slow to bulk up in primary states and has been focusing on much cheaper digital advertising.
But one report subsequently accused the Rubio campaign of “fudging” multiple numbers when describing its disclosure report.
Jeb Bush has built a formidable campaign with top-flight staff in all the early states and announced a respectable third-quarter haul of $13.4 million.
In an attempt to change the conversation, Bush’s campaign released an avalanche of other material, including a report from his doctor (“Mr. Bush is a healthy and vigorous 62-year-old man”), his 2014 tax return (more than $8 million earned) and a list people helping him raise money.
Only Carson, who lives in West Palm Beach, has raised more, with $20 million for the quarter. “I certainly share the goal of never having to bail out the big banks again, but I prefer the path of tackling the most risky risks in a different way”.
Despite initially being the clear front-runner, Bush has slipped to the middle of the Republican pack since Trump established his dominance of the field.
“Thanks to smart budgeting and fiscal discipline, Marco Rubio for President started October with more money in the bank than Jeb Bush for President and most other campaigns”, the Rubio campaign said in a statement. Ted Cruz with the GOP, and Democratic candidate and independent Sen.
Alone, Bush’s fundraising figure is impressive among Republicans.
Bush quickly struck back. “The candidate has to have a moment out there, and if that doesn’t happen, I just don’t know”. Marco Rubio, Bush’s rival from the Sunshine State, raised only $6 million, but closed the quarter with more cash on hand, $11 million to $10.3 million for Bush. By comparison, the two groups backing Rubio had collected at least $32 million by then.

And Bush’s son, Jeb Bush Jr., also dinged Rubio over a plethora of missed Senate votes, something for which the senator has faced increased scrutiny from both sides of the political aisle in recent weeks. “And it’s just, kind of, like, dude, you know, either drop out or do something, but we’re paying you to do something, it ain’t run for president”. Smaller donors aren’t required to be identified. Bush is in third, with $24.8 million for the year.
