Destiny Players Will Get Legendary Reward On Bungie Day – CinemaBlend
This week’s update by Bungie brought us news regarding their longstanding tradition of celebrating July 7 as the Bungie Day alongside a few hints at what could be additional rewards for Destiny players who have been with the game since the past year. It’s been almost a year since players got their first taste of Destiny, as millions joined in the public beta. The Taken, for those who didn’t read our Destiny Expansion preview, are the servants of Oryx, and basically look like spectral versions of the base enemy types.
“This is something we’ve been working on for a while, and your own triumphs are the crucial incredient”, Bungie said, posting and image of a new “Triumph” emblem that you’ll presumably be able to earn during this event.

This won’t be available until September of course when The Taken King launches, but the codes do something else as well. Useless codes now roam the American beaches in Red Bull cars, and Bungie and Activision now have to either call it a day or come up with a new algorithm to print new codes. Going forward, Weekly Updates will be a source of information and insight on how were updating Destiny for everyone this fall, highlighting key features and the content that we know you care about. In their post, the developer details what the expansion pass includes, from new story missions to new gear, but they didn’t provide any specifics. Still, at $40 the expansion will be competing with new releases this fall so Bungie has their work cut out for them. With that new tale will come with new cinematics and characters to drive the premise beyond “just shoot these new aliens, okay?” culminating in the “biggest six-player raid” to be created for Destiny so far.
