LeSean McCoy hinted on social media he might play this Sunday

Vic Carucci tweets that McCoy will probably play this week against the Cincinnati Bengals, but that he admits that he’s just not fully healthy right now.

“It’s a big one”, McCoy said, per Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News.

“2 5 on the way”, McCoy said, which seems to be an indication that he’ll play on Sunday against the Bengals.

“The count down finally!!!!!!!” They are expected to be without Tyrod Taylor, which would allow the Bengals to stack the box more against McCoy and other RBs. The Bills are without rookie running back Karlos Williams, who is recovering from a concussion.

“Well, I mean, I’m cautiously optimistic”, said Bills head coach Rex Ryan. “Although I know it’s widely reported that that’s the case”. You came up to draft me and I’m not getting targets – that’s a problem. Ryan has been known to employ a bit of gamesmanship with comments regarding players, which he did earlier this year when declining to name a starter until late into training game. “We’ve had great confidence in him and (if) he goes into play we expect him to do really good things”. He has sustained six injuries during his short time in Buffalo but never missed a regular-season game before his current absence.

While the rumors regarding Tyrod Taylor are unclear, the Buffalo Bills would stand to benefit greatly if McCoy is back in the lineup, regardless of who is under center. In three games, he has 146 yards on 43 carries.
