Peel Region Police officer, civilian shot in Brampton, Ont.
Peel Region police are asking the public’s help in locating a fourth suspect in the shooting that landed a police officer and a civilian in hospital.

Neither the officer or the civilian shot have been identified. He remains at Sunnybrook Hospital but is now in stable condition.
Police have searched the area on land and by helicopter, but say the fourth and final suspect has escaped.
The officer is in serious but stable condition, and the civilian is now being rushed to a trauma centre in critical condition. He was taken to a local hospital.
Police say a man is in custody in connection with a deadly incident in Brampton.
Police spokesman Constable Thomas Ruttan said the officer was on a premise check call at around 10:20 Friday night when he was sacked upon in his cruiser.
Two suspects were arrested overnight and one Saturday morning.
Peel Regional Police consider him to be armed and risky.
