Strictly Come Dancing 2015: Jay McGuiness criticised by judges after stumbling
However, within the space of seven days, news source anchor Katie Derham has performed a powerful u-turn on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The couple performed a Viennese Waltz to Elvis Presley’s If I Can Dream and closed the show in style.
While Katie and Anton were in first place, there was a four-way tie for second.
The Wanted star was the stand out hit from last week’s episode and won not only rave reviews from the judges for his impressive performance, but also an awesome reaction from the studio audience and social media users as they gushed about his skills. Collectively, they earned a complete of 33 points, which put them above Helen George, Jamelia, Peter Andre & Kellie Brilliant, who have been sharing the top spot.
It wasn’t such a good night for Jay McGuiness, who scored only 25 for his quickstep after topping the leaderboard with 37 last week.
“It was fab to see a naughty, spicy side to you”, added Darcey Bussell.

The 26-year-old pop beauty says the ballroom style is very different to other types of dancing and so the detractors should just be quiet.
This week their Waltz to Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World had the judges raving.
“It’s a shame because these things happen”, Goodman said.
