And CHS finished first in Class 6A, the release said. At Rock Ridge, McLean also marched away with Best Music, Best Visual, Best Guard, Best Percussion, Best General Effect and a Superior Rating.
The University of Central Arkansas Bear Marching Band will provide a marching band exhibition at 8:45 followed by the awards presentation at 9.
Tuesday’s event is free and open to the public. The Marching Clan will next compete on October 17 at Egg Harbor Township High School.
“I have been repeatedly delighted and amazed by the level of support from our volunteers, the band staff, the Board of Education and the town”, he said.
