Baby dies after being thrown from New York apartment building
The incident started Wednesday evening when screaming from Tenisha N. Fearon, 27, could be heard from Apartment 6D on Tiebout Avenue near E. 182nd St.in Fordham, according to the New York Times.

No charges have yet been filed, according to police.
Despite yells from neighbours and calls to police Fearon dropped the child on to the concrete beneath.
Told the man: ‘So I’m thinking she’s going to throw more kids out.
Office of Children and Family Services spokesman Steve Flamisch confirmed in a statement that Fearon previously operated a daycare “with no complaints or violations”, but her registration expired April 30 and her program has closed. Tenisha Fearon, clad in sweatpants and Old Navy sweatshirt, told her godmother Louella Hatch, 76, outside of the 46th Precinct stationhouse as detectives took her to an awaiting squad vehicle to be arraigned.
A 6-month-old baby died after being thrown from a window Thursday afternoon in the Bronx. There, she was pronounced dead at 2:28 PM.
Fearon was licensed to run a day care from her home and city agencies had referred children to her care, NBC 4 reports. “And then she jumps up and starts hitting the window”.
Lizette Rodriguez, a neighbor, said Fearon shouted: “I’m going to throw her. We’re all gonna die”. When I realized it was my building …I knew – that’s my goddaughter.
A witness told police Fearon yelled that the child was going to the Lord before tossing her out of the window, the police source told INSIDE EDITION. A short time later, the police formally arrested the young mother.
Fearon and the three children – a 10-year-old boy, an eight-year-old girl and a three-year-old girl – were naked, and Fearon was hitting her window, said Gregorio Lopez, a nextdoor neighbor.
“I actually thought that they weren’t alive when I saw them lying on the floor naked”, Lopez said.
“Something must have snapped”, said Carol Watson, who lives in the same building. “She was a good mother and very protective of those children”. ‘She must have had a breakdown or something’.
In August, police arrested a Queens woman in connection with the death of her 1-month-old son.

Last month, Jennifer Berry (33), was accused of throwing her newborn girl from the seventh-floor window of an apartment building in the Bronx. Officials said she believed an evil spirit had possessed her son and believed she was simply “stopping the pain”.
